Sustainability

At Nostrum Data Centers, sustainability is not an add-on — it is a foundational principle guiding every stage of our infrastructure development.

We are pioneers in next-generation, decentralized and AI-Ready data centers that prioritize energy efficiency, zero water consumption, and rapid time to market.

With over 500 MW of IT capacity across six strategic locations in Spain, we deliver highly scalable and environmentally responsible solutions that are designed for the AI era.

Our industry-leading energy efficiency is achieved through cutting-edge cooling systems that allow us to reach a PUE of 1.1 and a Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE) of 0, with no reliance on water for cooling. This commitment enables us to minimize resource consumption while maximizing performance — an essential balance as GPU density and rack power demands continue to rise.

As part of our broader mission, we align our actions with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Since our inception, our clean energy and low-impact infrastructure projects have prevented the emission of over 10 million metric tonnes of CO₂, reinforcing our promise to reduce inequalities, promote innovation, and drive climate action.

From power origination and land ownership to commissioning and operations, we maintain full control of the data center lifecycle to ensure the highest environmental and operational standards. At Nostrum, we are not just building infrastructure — we are building the future of digital sustainability.
